Ethiopian "Mesgana Dancers" to Visit Nu Skin Enterprises
The Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation is proud to welcome the Mesgana Dancers, sponsored by the Children of Ethiopia Education Fund (COEEF), a non-profit organization working to give young girls in Ethiopia the opportunity for an education. They will visit corporate headquarters on Wednesday, September 20th. The Foundation has been a proud sponsor of COEEF for three years.
"Mesgana" means gratitude or thankfulness in the Ethiopian language. The girls, ranging in age from 7-12, will visit Nu Skin to show their thanks to the Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation for its commitment to their education. Girls very similar to those who will perform are sponsored by the Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation, allowing them to receive an education in Ethiopia. The sponsorship includes uniforms, tuition, books and other essential supplies.
"We are fortunate to have the Mesgana Dancers come to Nu Skin Enterprises to share their culture with us," said Gary Garrett, Managing Director of the Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation. "This is a rare opportunity for us to have such a close connection and interactive experience with a project the Foundation supports."
The Mesgana Dancers were selected from among the COEEF students to visit and carry their message of thanks to schools and other organizations in Utah, California and Washington D.C. They have been invited to Nu Skin Enterprises to bring an element of our force for good culture close to home.
