Reach the Children
In 2007, the Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation donated funds to Reach the Children, which offers agricultural training to families in exchange for adopting orphan children. Reach the Children used the fund to improve water storage and delivery for 11 communities in Kenya.

Opportunity Fund for Developing Countries
The Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation donated to the Opportunity Fund for Developing Countries to supply 130 primary and secondary school-age children in Kenya with uniforms, school supplies, and tuition.

Koins for Kenya
The Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation donated to Koins for Kenya to build classrooms and purchase library books for a school in Kenya.

Expanding Opportunities
The mission of Expanding Opportunities, a non-governmental organization in Kenya, Africa is "To increase self-sufficiency through educational and charitable projects." In May 2001, the Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation donated funds to Expanding Opportunities to be used to provide homes for homeless children, to establish rural learning centers, to encourage cultural exchange through educational tours, to encourage small business through a micro-loan program and to increase markets for African artists through a retail business.

Gregory R. Smith / Amani Peace School
Gregory R. Smith received the Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation Lifetime Achievement Award at Nu Skin Enterprises' 2002 International Convention. In his name, the Foundation issued a grant to the International Youth Advocates organization to aid in the construction of the Amani Peace School in Kenya, Africa. At this school, children from three warring tribes will study together and learn about problem solving and working together, in addition to general education.

Opportunity Fund for Developing Countries
The Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation provided a grant to the Opportunity Fund for Developing Countries in August 2006 to provide education materials (uniforms, text books and school supplies) to at least 100 children (particularly orphans and girls) in Kenya for the 2007 school year. This is the third grant the Foundation has provided to this organization.

Previous projects include:

  • Helped children in remote areas of Kenya attend school in 2005
  • Provided funds to purchase school uniforms, school supplies and school fees for 100 children living in Maasai, Kenya in 2004

Reach the Children
Funds from the Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation will help 200 farmers in Kenya become certified in a safety program in order for their produce to be traded to Europe. Farmers in Kenya are also eligible to participate in a farming co-op by caring for orphans and other vulnerable children.

Zambia Medical Missions
The Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation made a donation to build a two-classroom school and provide furniture for orphan children in Nairobi through the Zambia Medical Missions.
